DETAILED ITINERARY.

Day 1: Depart from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Early in the morning you will be picked by our experienced driver guide after your breakfast ready to set off to southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Kampala to Mubende to Fort Portal where you have a stopover at Uganda Equator at Kikorongo for photography. Upon arrival, you will check in Jacana Safari Lodge or Mweya Safari Lodge for lunch. After, you can embark on wildlife viewing at the Mweya peninsular which offers stunning views of the glacial peaks of the Rwenzori Mountain. After, you will retreat to the lodge for dinner and overstay stay at:

Day 2: Game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Following breakfast in the morning, you will set off for your exciting and interesting wildlife viewing along the Kasenyi plains. As you move, don’t miss to catch a glimpse of leopards, warthogs, Defassa waterbuck, elephants and many more. After, return to the lodge for lunch and after you will again set off for the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will sight crocodiles, hippos, water lizards as well as birdlife like the yellow billed stork, black headed gonolek and many more. After that exciting and amazing safari you will return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner in the previous place where you spent your last night.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest Reserve -Queen Elizabeth National Park, drive to Bwindi impenetrable Forest National park.

Early in the morning after your breakfast you will set off for chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu forest reserve and after transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which offers refuge to the rare mountain gorillas. This drive will take you about 5 hours and on arrival you will have dinner and overnight at

Day 4: Mountain gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Following breakfast early in the morning, you will set off to Bwindi headquarters for morning briefing at a respective tracking area. There are four main trailheads in Bwindi which include Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo sector where gorilla trekking usually begins depending where your permit was booked. Out of 11 gorilla groups in Bwindi that are set for gorilla trekking and research, you will be assigned only one to track in a group of eight visitors. After your breathtaking adventure, you will return to your respective lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Depart from Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park

Breakfast early in the morning and after you will set off to Lake Mburo National Park for about five hours where you will have lunch and after you will embark on a boat cruise on the Lake Mburo. While on the boat cruise you will have a chance to view a number of hippos, crocodiles and many more. After, you will retreat for dinner and overnight stay at

Day 6: Game drives in the morning and transfer back to Kampala

Early in the morning you will have breakfast at the lodge and after, you will set off to wilderness to enjoy a Game drive to view impala, oribi, eland, topi, sitatunga, bush pigs, zebras, warthogs, roan as well as three distinct otters. After transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight Home. This will mark the end of your 6-day safari in Uganda.
