4 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari

This 4 days gorilla and wildlife safari in Uganda is carried out in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and the Uganda safari destination of Queen Elizabeth National Park Southwest part of the country. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is credited for its mountain gorillas which represent about half of the world’s population.

It comprises of thick forest undergrowth with mature trees that make up the canopy while standing on the rugged landscape with deep saddles that combine to justify it as an “Impenetrable forest.” This natural setting is ideal for the mountain gorilla tracking as well as birding. Your 4 days mountain gorilla and wildlife safari destination of Queen Elizabeth National Park which stretches over the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley covers about 1978 square kilometers overlooking the mystical Rwenzori Mountains.

This protected area offers refuge to more than 620 birdlife, the 95 species of mammals, the stunning 45 kilometers long Kazinga Channel linking Lake George and Edward, Ishasha area with its rare tree climbing lions, the Kyambura gorge which offers refuge to wild chimpanzees and the spectacular scenic Katwe explosion crater. DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Early in the morning after your breakfast from your respective hotel in Kampala, you will be picked up by our driver guide at around 7:00am and head to southwestern Uganda. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photography and then proceed to Mbarara Town for Your lunch and later continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which offers refuge to the rare mountain gorillas where half of the world’s populations are found in this incredible park. You will head south viewing the terraced hills of Kigezi highlands once described as the Switzerland of Africa. Arrive in the evening where you will check into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at:

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
After your morning breakfast you will head to the park headquarters for briefing where you will be assigned a gorilla family to track in a group of eight tourists. The trek many take one to eight hours and only one hour is given to you to be with the mountain gorillas, exploring their behavior and also take as many photos as you can. After your magical encounter, you will return to your respective lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Breakfast in the morning and after set off for Ishasha sector in the South of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive where you will have a chance to see the rare tree climbing lions and also several wildlife species such as Elephants, Buffaloes, Hyena and many more. This sector is dominated by acacia woodland and scrubland and has meandering Ishasha river banked by a riparian forest. Thereafter, you will head to the Mweya peninsular where you will have a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel and have opportunity to view the largest school of hippos and not to forget crocodiles as well as water bird species. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at

Day 4: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park back to Kampala
Following an early breakfast, you set off for Kampala after you have done your chimpanzee tracking at Kyambura Gorge and after proceed to Kampala with your packed lunch. You will arrive Kampala in the evening and this will mark the end of your four days gorillas and wildlife safari in Uganda.
