Day 1: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked by our experienced driver guide ready to embark on a city tour. You will visit one of the astonishing genocide memorial sites at Gisozi to explore more on what took place in Rwanda in 1994 where thousands of innocent people lost their lives in horrific event between Hutus and Tutsis at the time. After, you will continue to the Volcanoes National Park for your long awaited dream. You will have dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/Muhabura Hotel

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and in the afternoon, visit to Lake Kivu
After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park official on your general behavior while in the forest tracking the rare mountain gorillas. After, you will be assigned one habituated gorilla group and then you will set off with your guide to search for these incredible species in their natural habitat. The trek can takes 2 to 6 hours or more and only one hour is allowed for you to have a face to face encounter with these amazing primates in the wild. After, you will return for lunch at your lodge of choice and then set off for Lake Kivu one of the famous deepest Albertine Lakes in East Africa which also allows you to view the spectacular Mount Nyiragongo in the DR Congo or alternatively you can go for a cultural encounter to explore Banyarwanda cultural practices. Dinner and overnight in previous lodge where you spent a night day one

Day 3: Return to Kigali 
After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled flight
