Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Uganda
Following breakfast in the morning, you will be picked up by our experienced and professional driver guide from Kigali and after set off to Uganda through the Cyanika border to Kisoro or Katuna border to Kabale. It will take about 2-4 hours for you to arrive at the park headquarters to join the rest of the tourists for the briefing on dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking by the park officials. You will have breakfast while at the briefing time and at 8:00 am you will set off to the forest to look out for the group of these dramatic creatures in the wild. You will be allocated one gorilla family to track in a group of eight people and it takes you about one to eight hours or more to track and only one hour is allowed for you to have a face-to-face encounter with the apes. After you will return to Kigali for your scheduled flight and this will mark the end of your 1 day Bwindi gorilla Tour starting from Kigali.
