Day 1: Transfer from Kigali international airport to Volcanoes National Park with a City Tour of Kigali
On arrival at Rwanda’s Kigali International Airport where you will meet our experienced driver guide readily waiting for you to embark on your safari. You will be briefed by the driver about Rwanda and general tour and you will explore the Kigali genocide memorial site or Gisozi genocide memorial site to learn more on history of the Rwanda genocide 1994 that left thousands dead within 100 days. After your city tour embark on a 116 kilometers to Volcanoes National Park for about 2 to 3 hours’ drive. Enjoy your safari along with the stunning rolling hills at the country side. You will arrive at Ruhengeri in the evening to have dinner and overnight stay at:

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast early in the morning and then set off to the park headquarters at Kinigi for morning briefing by the park official on gorilla etiquettes, as you wait for the briefing you will be entertained by Kinyarwanda dances or grab a cup of coffee. You will be allocated one gorilla family and after embark on the gorilla trek in the misty jungles to look for the critically endangered mountain gorillas. Trek through spectacular landscapes with the volcanic soils that may not be firm and can be slippery. The park offers refuge to incredible flora and bird species. Only one hour is given to you to catch a glimpse of these wild creatures in the wild. After, you will return to lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at as above.

Day 3: Hike through mount Karisimbi
After breakfast, embark on mountain climbing at Karisimbi volcano one of the highest volcanoes out of the famous 8 Virunga Volcanoes. Continue to Kinigi headquarters where you will drive to the trailhead with a packed lunch and embark on a real exhilarating hiking adventure through the lush mountain flora before reaching the magnificent mountain the summit. Trekking is via Bisoke side and up to an altitude of 3,700M. Up on arrival to the top, you will catch a glimpse at the outstanding sceneries of all the other 7 Virunga Mountains. After descend and relax, have dinner and overnight stay at

Day 4: Return to Kigali city and visit the Kigali genocide museum/Gisozi genocide memorial site.
After breakfast early in the morning you will depart back to Kigali city on a 116 kilometer which is about 2 to 3 hours’ drive which comes with exceptional views of the scenic rolling hills of Rwanda along the way. Upon arrival in Kigali City you will return to the International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
