DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart from Kampala to Kampala to Kibale National Park
Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked up by our experienced driver guide as you are prepared to embark on a 358 kilometer trip about seven hour drive from Kampala to the magnificent Kibale National Park, west of Uganda through Mubende to Fort portal route where you will stopover for lunch at the Mountains of the Moon Hotel or in Fort portal Town. After head towards the Toro Kingdom palace and visit the royal tombs as well as explore the Toro culture and traditions and later proceed to Kibale National Park.

Upon arrival, you will check in at the Lodge for Dinner and overnight at accommodation facilities which are a walkable distance to the visitor center with several primates for you to catch a glimpse especially the black and white colobus, blue monkey, the playful baboons, chimpanzees, as well as birdlife. You then embark on the afternoon primate walk/nature walk along Kanyanchu River Camp for about 2 hours and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience (CHEX) in Kibale National Park.
Get up in the morning for an entire day primate experience in Kibale National Park as you follow the chimpanzees with the park researchers or trackers for nearly the whole day with your packed lunch and enough water. You will also encounter several primates especially the L’Hoests, baboons, white and black colobus, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red colobus, Blue monkeys, pottos and many more. There are also forest elephants, forest hogs and unique species of trees. After, you will return to your respective lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and in the afternoon, Launch cruise along the Kazinga channel
Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will set off to Uganda most popular safari destination Queen Elizabeth National Park about 113 kilometer journey for an afternoon boat cruise as you look out for the hippos and crocodiles and many water bird species along the Kazinga channel. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at

Day 4: Game drives at Ishasha sector – Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to Bwindi National Park.
Early in the morning you will have your breakfast at a respective lodge and after embark on game drives along the Ishasha sector where you will be amazed with views of the rare climbing lions as they blend themselves on tree trunks as well as sighting other wildlife species given the fact that this is safari destination. After you will set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and along the way don’t miss to catch a glimpse of stunning surrounding areas of Kigezi land. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 5: Mountain gorilla trekking and evening Batwa encounter in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Following breakfast in the morning, you will set off to the park headquarters for briefing from the park official where you will also be assigned to gorilla group to track in a group of eight people. Your trek may take from one hour to eight hours depending on the where these species can be found, your physical fitness and altitude of the area. Upon getting your group, you will have one hour of face to face encounter with the apes and after return to the lodge for a rest. After, you will embark on community visit the evening to the Batwa where you meet the forest dwellers who lived in the Bwindi forest for over 500000 years. After that exciting cultural and traditional encounter, you will return to the previous lodge for dinner and overnight stay at

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Island.
Following breakfast in the morning, you will be picked at your respective lodge to head to Lake Bunyonyi the island paradise where you will explore over 29 confined islands in this Lake and also sight some interesting bird species. You will take a canoe ride to other islands which is a birder’s paradise. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at

Day 7: Depart from Lake Bunyonyi back to Kampala
